From Marseille to Cassis

The forecast of a rainy week-end in Switzerland pushed Philipp and me to search for a more attractive place to stay. With a preference to travel by train we finally agreed on discovering one of the most southern towns of France, Marseille!

Based on recommendations from different friends we planned on a hiking tour over to the Calanques , and the town Cassis situated in the heart of this beautiful natural park.

We had a great stay between the sulky streets in the Panier district in Marseille and the wild bays and beaches of the Calanques (not to mention the excellent Mediterranean cuisine)!
