Portraits in the woods

You’re not rewarded in life for what you know. Instead, you’re rewarded in life for what you create - And, in order to do truly creative work, you must embrace the unknown

Last Sunday I took off with my friend and photographer Dragana as assistant, and with Line, who wanted to give the modeling business a second shot. In the end Dragana took both the role of assisting and modeling...

For me it is only recently that I started to work with models, and also still need some experience to get more routine with shaping light. But the afternoon turned out to be a real boost of creative trial and error and was a joy for all of us.

Besides the beautiful golden hour sunlight which was available for free, I worked with my Rotolight flashes AEOS and NEO 2. The last one together with a light modifying umbrella from Westcott.

Many thanks to my patient models Dragana & Line for the great work and stunning results!
