We never planned to be in Luxembourg for this specific event, but it was just one of these nice coincidences in life. As I was always fascinated by steam engines, I had discovered the steampunk movement long ago, but never crossed any of its "disciples" in real live so far.
Fond-de-Gras
From Pétange - about an hour away from Luxembourg - you can enter the beautiful scenery of an ancient ore mine network by taking the 1900 museum railway to the so called Minett Park. The place with tons (literally) of industrial heritage is just the right scenery for an event like a steampunk convention!
